Even at subsonic speed G-BOAC was still flying 100 mph faster than any other plane and it took 23-ish mins to make the 192 mile journey (on a good day it takes a car 3 1/2 hrs to make the same journey), she landed at Manchester Airport at 10:53am on runway  06L.

Upon her landing she greeted by thousands of well wishers and was given a huge VIP welcome.

During Concorde’s career G-BOAC was the 205th and final Concorde to land at Manchester Airport.

These are videos of her final landing at Manchester

As of November 2003 G-BOAC now lives at Manchester Airport  and is very well looked after by my friend Neil Lomax (who is the manager of the viewing park she lives in).
