Mach 2 – yipeeeeeeeeeeee

In the Cabin

I said

:-

Ok no problem …. I’m sorry about asking you this.

Martine cheerfully said

:-

That’s alright…..

I replied

:-

I just don’t want to get in the way ……….

Martine cheerfully said

:-

We need to come through with the trolleys in a minute.

I happily replied

:-

Ok …….

Martine said

:-

You wait till the service is over then you can take the picture.

I happily replied

:-

Ok ……. I’m sorry I didn’t know.

Martine cheerfully said

:-

That’s all right …….. don’t worry

Although I really wanted to get my picture taken next to the mach meters I did not want to upset or annoy any one hence why I asked permission from the cabin crew to do this as I knew they where working very very hard and I didn’t want to be a pain in their backside by standing next to the mach meters while they where very busy.

Out of all of the stewardess on my flight I felt Martine was more mummzy to me  (as she looked after me like my mum does), she was a really nice and very warm person .

This is Martine Belle on a Concorde flight.

After about 5 minutes the stewardesses where still walking around frantically but compared to earlier  on things now had calmed down a lot, the atmosphere was more relaxed, laid back and open, when I got moment I got up and started to  walk slowly to mach meters to have my photo taken.

On my way there I met John (another passenger on Concorde) he had an EOS 3 and said

:-

My EOS 3 ran out of battery power 10 minutes after we had taken off  so I haven’t  taken any photos of the flight.

I noticed that you have an EOS 3 round  your neck can I borrow a spare battery for my camera ?
