The above photos where taken a few minutes we after sunrise, notice how the clouds “below“ the wings turned an orange colour.
This was taken 10 minutes later, the tops of the clouds still look a bit orange in colour as we are now 10 minutes more in to very early “morning“ sunlight.
Mach 2 – yipeeeeeeeeeeee
In the Cabin
All the clouds where miles and miles under us and they looked like they where just gently passing us by….. At our height all you could really see out of our window was an uninterrupted view of the horizon and at the horizon the various shades of the blue sky.
I wasn’t sure how far I could see I guess it was thousands of miles but I wasn’t 100% sure however I knew we could see a long long way…… All this showed just how advanced and well made Concorde really is as the people who designed, built her and the people who piloted and looked after her did a brilliant, first class job.
I took some more photos of the sky….. The photos below where taken at regular intervals and show how we zoomed across the deep Atlantic sky at mach 2 and caught the sun, resulting in sunrise

I looked out of the window and at the same time I updated the video dairy and in amazed voice said
I can’t believe I’m flying at mach 2, I can’t believe it ……….
It seems so so smooth, the ride’s as smooth as glass ……
It doesn’t feel lumpy or bumpy it was just so smooooooooooooth.
1/2 way over the Atlantic ocean we where all having dinner and the stewardesses where coming over to take our orders…… I could see the stewardess coming over to me so I put the camcorder in my bag, but I accidentally left it running and for 10 minutes it recorded the following
Camcorder view from inside my bag.
