Be warned you are two or so minutes behind the medium aircraft just taking off, so errr one of our guys from ATC is taking the opportunity of taking some photographs of you on the runway if your happy with that ?

He’s entering the runway now, a head of you and heading towards you …….. its very sad I know.

In the cabin - take off run


My seat belt was tight I was excited about the flight and I remember some one sent me an e-mail a few days before saying push the seat back in to a laying back position to enjoy the increased G-Force and rapid acceleration on the body I tried to do that.

The nose was lowered from taxi position to take off position

In the cabin - take off run

I tried to set the camcorder up to look out of my window and record the take off run as Rainbow Warrior had done on his flight but some how I could not get the camcorder to look out of the window while I was locked in my seat belt.
