Quest for a Concorde Ticket

Cat let out of the bag

When I told them I was very very embarrast and a shamed that I didn’t have a job as most people look down on you and treat you like you’re the lowest of the low…… they treat you  like your dirt if your out of work but this wasn’t my fault……I really wanted a full time job but no one was offering me it so I was out of work but when I was offered random temp work I took it to get money in to my pocket and to show employers in London that I was willing to work.

Because I told them that I was out of work I was very scared of loosing their friendship and respect, I was very scared of this but I couldn’t lie to them about me not having a regular job for so long they where my close friends I just couldn’t lie to them ……

I also told them how hard I was really looking for a job and Sparky saw proof of that when I sent him a CD with all my job hunting e-mails on it for 2001, 2002  and most of 2003

When they heard this and when Sparky saw my job hunting CD to my happy surprise they didn’t look down at me at all, they didn’t treat me like I was a nothing, they didn’t treat me like dirt …… they understood my situation and asked me to give as much as I could afford.

Hi mate

Thanks for the mail - no worries at all, and I'm very discreet! and I appreciate the state of the jobs market at the moment.

Now, to important matters: right now, I need your £500, if you can manage it! How you get it to me is up to you,  but it must be pretty quick. Cheque is OK, payable to:

********   Personal details Edited by me *******

Or you could make an online (or offline - speak to your bank) transfer to:

I also need to know your full name as it appears on your passport, and a contact telephone number for you.

Cheers mate, and keep taking those photos!

Out of the last of my spare savings I gave Sparky £500 for my ticket and flight as I really really really wanted to fly on Concorde but £500 was as  much as I could afford.

Cheque for £500

Here are the e-mails sparky and I exchanged confirming that I’d send him the cheque
